Things to do in Blue Ridge

Enjoy a scenic 5.3-mile drive into the forest following Noontootla Creek to the Three Forks area, then begin your two-mile round-trip hike following Long Creek to a cascading waterfall with two drops totaling 50 feet. - Explore Georgia

Head south on the Benton MacKaye Trail from Hwy 60 for three miles to be rewarded with sweeping views of the pristine Toccoa River flowing beneath a structure known simply as the “Swinging Bridge.” The longest suspension bridge east of the Mississippi, the passage was built by the USDA Forest Service and the Georgia Appalachian Trail Club in the mid-1970s. - Explore Georgia

The Aska Trails Area is is a popular 17-mile trail system near Blue Ridge and are made up of 5 smaller trails: Stanley Gap Trail, Green Mountain Trail, Flat Creek Loop, Stanley Gap/Flat Creek Connector, and Long Branch Loop; which all together form 17.0 miles of beautiful trails to explore. Open year-round, these winding trails will take you through the Chattahoochee National Forest and across mountain streams & creeks. You might even run into a waterfall or two! These trails also eventually connect to the Benton McKaye Trail and Lake Blue Ridge Loop. 

A short distance away and part of the larger Benton MacKaye Trail, Fall Branch Falls is a double waterfall with mountain laurel and rhododendron growing along the trail and creek bank. The hike to the falls is about 30 minutes round-trip.

The Lake Blue Ridge Loop is a quick 0.8 miles trail around the lake and is well maintained, making it a great hike for all ages.
